Have yourself a spooky little unspecified December holiday!

Hello hello my spooktacular friends!  Apparently it’s December, so I figured I should throw together another little blog to update all of you on what's going on. 

Wrapped!

First off, we got our Spotify Wrapped in for the year and well… I’ll be honest, it absolutely took our breath away. 

Considering we only released 3 episodes in 2025 when this was tallied up, seeing nearly 60,000 listens on Spotify alone, and another 35,000 on Apple is something we never expected.

Our favorite stat was the breakdown of how many minutes/hours/days etc you all listened to us.  The day count was the best.

And then we were informed that we were listened to with consecutive episodes, commented on, and shared more than “98% of other podcasts”.  I’m not sure I believe that if I’m being honest, but I also wouldn’t believe it if someone told me we had been listened to nearly half a million times since we started. 

All that being said, we just want to say Thank You.  Seriously, thank you.  To all of you… all over the world (apparently).  Haunted House Flippers has been a passion project and hobby since 2020 and despite never advertising or really marketing our show, thousands of you have found us.  I don’t know how, and there’s that little voice of Imposter Syndrome that questions why in the world you all stick around.  But it really does mean the world to us that you are all here and encouraging us to do more.

Speaking of More…

As I mentioned previously, I am going to TRY to get a new episode out each month, but please be aware that we are approaching SO MANY HOLIDAYS that I can’t promise something right at the beginning of January. 

Last night, Melissa and I recorded an episode alongside a new member of the HHF family, Marnie Warner.  We’ve got more recording to do in the upcoming weeks and then I’ll be diving back into editing.

What?  You want more?  Okay, so I am going to be doing more behind the scenes stuff.  Some of it will be snippets I can toss up on Instagram, Facebook, and Discord, and some of it will be livestreams on Youtube for production work. 

UGH!  YOU WANT MORE??  Fine.  On Christmas Eve (Dec 24th), we will be hosting a live listen to the apparently fan favorite episode… A Very Splendid Christmas.
